Urban Retreats were pioneered by the Sheffield Buddhist Centre as a means of creating stronger connections between people and introducing newer people to the benefits of sangha.  This initiative has since expanded into the Triratna International Urban Retreat, which this year will take place in the week Oct 8th to 15th, with the theme: Sailing the Worldly Winds.
